Here are some projects we brainstormed at our first meeting. On Nov 12th we will be solidifying the projects into groups of people who are interested in making these projects happen.
SAFETY
We discussed having a helmet design competition that could double as a auction/fundraiser to cover costs of BIKE TOWN projects. Another category brought up for this project were light reflective jewelery.
BIKE SHARING
Research other bike sharing programs from other cities and campuses, analysis of the viability of a similar project here.
Could it include Brown? Greater Providence community eventually?

A bike supply vending maching
Bike pumps
Gas station-style pump
A place to store cargo bikes or trailers for communal use
BIKE MAINTENANCE WORKSHOPS
Armory Park-style workshops
Recycle-A-Bike style workshops

RISD racing team
Critical Mass on 10/24 at 6pm, starting location TBD, probably near Thayer St.
looking for a venue for a party afterward. Hope High School also suggested as a starting place.
